unordered thoughts

Cosmos, the 1980s television series featuring Carl Sagan, inspired me as a child.  It inspired in me a love of learning and knowing for the sake of it.

I was fortunate enough to go to a school where my Chemistry master found the series impressive enough to make watching it ‘homework’  not that it was ever a chore.

I owe my love of learning and appreciation of science and inquiry in no small part to these influences.

I have since bought the book of the series and have been given the DVD Box set; rare finds both particularly the DVDs.
